Responsibility for work pack compilation and issue.
Developing and implementing mechanical inspection strategies (based on RBI techniques) for all pressure equipment, piping and storage tanks.
Determining the maximum interval between inspections based on condition, historical degradation trends, predicted remaining life, process monitoring, risk and the applicable codes
Management of external and internal examination of all equipment at specified inspection intervals
Assisting Mechanical Engineer in Fit for Purpose analysis for deteriorated pressure equipment and piping.

Monitoring the performance of critical process and corrosion monitoring parameters for changes that may impact upon the reliability and integrity of the plant, ensuring contact with process and operational staff to review and assess the causes and potential effects of changes

Reviewing the effectiveness of engineering strategies and activities i.e., corrosion under insulation, relief valve inspections in support of overall business objectives, legislative requirements and assurance of the technical integrity of facilities
Inspection of pressure vessels and process pipe work utilising a variety of NDT techniques to contractor and/or client specific procedures

Shutdown planning
Co-ordination of offshore NDT/inspection services and personnel; campaign planning of NDT/Inspection and Rope Access requirements
Planning of inspection routines for process pipe work and vessels in accordance with API, ASME specifications and PSSR regulations
